Kevin Thompson

Kevin graduated in 2008 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a triple major in Business Finance, Investment Science & Portfolio Management, and Commercial Bank Management along with a minor in Spanish. Kevin was in the Maverick Investment Club while at UNO and graduated with a 3.4 cumulative GPA while working full time. He decided that no matter what road he would take down life, he would need to be well versed in personal finance, and always had an interest in investments. After graduation, Kevin had been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and through that organization was introduced to Rick Young.

Kevin joined the Rick Young Financial Services team in August of 2009 as a part time assistant. In his tenure at RYFS, he earned licenses in life health and annuities, and the series 7 and 66. Kevin recieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in May of 2022.

In addition to his duties at RYFS, Kevin also has created a small business called Art Attacks which specializes in rescuing good people from bad art.

He is married to his lovely wife Andrea and they have 2 children - Violet and Damian and a less than approachable cat named Lionnel.
