After Rick completed his Bachelors of Science in Business-Finance at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1995 he went to work in the financial services industry. With over twenty-five years helping people protect, grow and distribute their wealth through investment, retirement, estate and insurance planning, Rick has the experience you should expect in your financial planner. Rick currently holds the series 7, 6, 24, 31, 63, 65, Life, Health and Annuities licenses. Rick has earned Certified Financial Planning designation. Rick started with the Janus Funds in Denver Colorado then moved back to Omaha in 1997 to join a local firm. In April of 2004 Rick joined Cambridge Investment Research Advisors and started Rick Young Financial Services.
Rick has co-hosted a live radio program "The Financial View" on 1180 KOIL (am). He is a frequent contributor to the Midlands Business Journal and has been interviewed by the local Fox affiliate and KMTV.
Rick currently volunteers with Habitat for Humanity Omaha and was a board member from 2001-2007. Rick was recognized by the Midlands Business Journals 40 under 40 in 2007, was honored by the MS Society-Nebraska Chapter with their corporate achievers award in 2005.
Rick is married and has three children. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys coaching his children's teams.
